When one lights by the front window, does one also have to place the lights less than ten Tefachim high?

A, Shulchan Aruch (O.H. 671) rules that the The Menorah lights should be placed on the onset at a height of less than ten Tefachim (between 86 or 100 cm.). If placed over that height. If placed over that height, as long as it is less than twenty amos, it is valid. Poskim rule that when the Menorah is placed by the window, it could be place even higher than ten Tefachim. (Mogen Avrohom ibid. 6, Chayei Odom 154: 15, Mishna Berura 671: 27 and others). However, Machatzis Hashekel maintains that when there is two windows and one would support the menorah at a height of less that ten Tefachim, that one should be used on the onset. Aruch Hashulchan (ibid. 22) disagrees.
