When traveling by plane and walking on the corridor, most often one is going to have to walk between two women seating in the aisle seats. To avoid the prohibition involved, should one take a jacket or other object in one hands to create a separation?
Horav Chaim Kanievsky zt’l maintains that one can be lenient when the women are seated in those seats. (Shilhei Dekayito p.168) Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that holding a separating object such as a magazine or a paper helps.
